7 Week "Foundation of Yoga" Series with Michelle Stafford

 

 

Whether you are new to the mat or a seasoned practitioner looking to get back to the basics, this is the class for you. During this course, we will focus on the key elements of a successful yoga practice, including alignment principals, proper breathing (pranayama), relaxation techniques, & positive body consciousness. 

Yoga literally means "to yolk" or "union." It is our mission to yolk our community through the ancient tradition of yoga, offering peace and love to all who join us.

Please bring a twin sized blanket to use as a bolster/prop during class.

 Meditation in Motion (Tai Chi)

Bring mind and body together to reduce stress. You will focus on movement and breathing which will create a state of relaxation and calm. Studies have shown that Tai Chi can reduce anxiety and depression, improve sleep, lower blood pressure, relieve chronic pain and increase energy.
